Printing using Screwdrivers support

**Important Notice to Quickbooks customers**

As of December 1st, 2007, ITX will only support version 4.1.04.98 (and newer) of the Screwdrivers Universal Printer driver engine, which allows for support of most Windows-compatible printers. In order to continue printing after this time, it will be necessary to update your system to the latest version. To perform the installation:

To check what version of the Screwdrivers client you have installed on your computer, do the following:

  1. Click the Start button and select Control Panel.
  2. Scroll down and click on Screwdrivers Client.
  3. Check to make sure the version number on the General tab is 4.1.04.98. If it is any other version, please follow the remaining instructions to uninstall and then reinstall the new version of Screwdrivers client.

Make sure to uninstall any existing prior versions of the Screwdrivers universal printer driver from your system:

  1. Click the Start button and select Control Panel.
  2. From the Control Panel, double click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Once this window refreshes, scroll down and click on Screwdrivers Client Vx and click the Remove button.
  4. Repeat this step for each version in the list.

Then, download and install the newest version of the Screwdrivers client. You will need administrative privileges on your system to perform these steps:

  1. Click on the link, below, and select "Run" when prompted.
  2. The file will download, then select "Run" again.
  3. Click "Next" through the installation wizard to allow the software to install, and click finish when complete.
